Description
The Tengu 4530HT (High Torque) is our proven hardcore-3D motor in the 45-size: hand-wound, famously cool-running, and developed with hardcore (MasterClass) competition pilots in mind. Officially rated at almost 13.5kW of peak power (and really delivering upwards of 14.5kW), it remains a serious choice for 700–800 size helicopters such as the SAB Goblin RAW, Kraken 700 or Black Thunder, XLPower Specter, Goosky RS7, OMPHobby M7, Align T-Rex 700, Mikado Logo 700, or Gaui 700 — including stretched 760–800 kits and multi-blade head setups.
Available winds: 370, 420, 510, 525 and 550Kv, each with your choice of 6x35mm or 6x55mm shaft — and (as with every EGODRIFT motor) a custom Kv wind is available at no extra cost. For matching a wind to your setup, our Choosing the right motor guide and the Headspeed Calculator have you covered.

Stator size:
The stator size of our motors is indicated as a combined number, where the first two digits refer to the stator width, and the last two digits refer to the stator height.
So a 4730 stator size refers to a motor with a stator width of 47 mm, and a stator height of 30 mm.
On large industry models with a stator diameter in exess of 100 mm (like our Jetstream Heavy Duty Series, these numbers are seperated by a dash, like 100-30 or 150-50.

The motor configuration gives you information about the number of stator arms/slots (N) and magnetic poles (P). So a 12N10P denomination refers to a motor with 12 arms and 10 poles.

Mounting hole pattern:
This information includes the number of mounting holes, their respective thread size, and the bolt circle on which the holes are placed — shown as the number in brackets.
Example 1: "4x M4(30)"
This means that the motor features four M4 mounting holes, placed on a 30 mm bolt circle.
For extended compatibility with a wide range of models, some of our motors feature a combination of different mounting hole sizes and/or bolt circles. In this case, the information is shown as follows:
Example 2: "2x M4(30) + 2x M3(25)"
This means that the motor features two M4 mounting holes placed on a 30 mm bolt circle, and two M3 mounting holes placed on a 25 mm bolt circle.
Don’t worry if only two of the mounting holes, opposite to each other, line up with your mounting bracket or motor plate. Using only two screws is perfectly fine — but as with any metal thread, always use threadlocker.
