Description
The Tengu 4525HT (High Torque) is our proven motor in the more compact 45-size: hand-wound on the 0.15mm stator platform that made our 45-size motors famous for their cool operating temperature, and a reliable choice for 700 size helicopters where you want 12S power in a lighter package. Where its bigger 4530HT brother was built for hardcore 3D, the 4525HT is the precision choice — and a great option for F3N flying, where clean, precise 3D counts for more than raw smack.
Available winds: 510Kv and 550Kv for your 12S setups, the 530Kv "Jason Russell Edition", and the 428Kv "Logo690 Edition" (successor of the 4525HS Logo 690 Edition, shipped with the fitting 6x55mm shaft installed). The standard winds come with your choice of 6x35mm or 6x55mm shaft, and (as with every EGODRIFT motor) a custom Kv wind is available at no extra cost.

Stator size:
The stator size of our motors is indicated as a combined number, where the first two digits refer to the stator width, and the last two digits refer to the stator height.
So a 4730 stator size refers to a motor with a stator width of 47 mm, and a stator height of 30 mm.
On large industry models with a stator diameter in exess of 100 mm (like our Jetstream Heavy Duty Series, these numbers are seperated by a dash, like 100-30 or 150-50.

The motor configuration gives you information about the number of stator arms/slots (N) and magnetic poles (P). So a 12N10P denomination refers to a motor with 12 arms and 10 poles.

Mounting hole pattern:
This information includes the number of mounting holes, their respective thread size, and the bolt circle on which the holes are placed — shown as the number in brackets.
Example 1: "4x M4(30)"
This means that the motor features four M4 mounting holes, placed on a 30 mm bolt circle.
For extended compatibility with a wide range of models, some of our motors feature a combination of different mounting hole sizes and/or bolt circles. In this case, the information is shown as follows:
Example 2: "2x M4(30) + 2x M3(25)"
This means that the motor features two M4 mounting holes placed on a 30 mm bolt circle, and two M3 mounting holes placed on a 25 mm bolt circle.
Don’t worry if only two of the mounting holes, opposite to each other, line up with your mounting bracket or motor plate. Using only two screws is perfectly fine — but as with any metal thread, always use threadlocker.

Dean M. I was between the 4530HT and the 4525HT, and decided to go for the 4525 size due to weight considerations. I am trying to keep my setup lightweight and powerful - and the 4525HT does the trick fr me as it's about 50g lighter than the 4530 and although I was a bit sceptical, there is absolutely no moment where I feel I'd need more power, there's plenty in it
