#egodriftcouch Episode 02

Hi everybody and welcome to the second episode of our #egodriftcouch, our special EGODRIFT anniversary show, where we present to you all the new projects and products we've been working on - and today we have a very very special treat for you. We're gonna switch to a video from our factory in just a couple of minutes, so stay with us! But before we go to the live reveal of our new BETA motors laser design, we have some new products for you to show. Because we already told you that we're gonna show you some new products, and as you might know and recognize this is our Tengu 4025HS motor. Together with the Kraken 580, and developed for this heli, we released an 1190Kv 4025HT, which was the first of the HT models within the 40xx size stator class, so there's a 4025, a 4035 and there's going to be something in between (that we're going to talk about in another show).

So if you check out the 4025HT 1190Kv - let's see if the camera grabs that - you're going to see that it's actually just a little bit higher than the 4025HS. It's 2.5 millimeters difference and for that reason the shafts of the 4025HS models don't fit the HT models. So if you need a special shaft other than the 6x32mm that is right now available, you'll have to wait a bit. Because this is just brand new and this shaft that we made, was to fit the Kraken (580) and it fits most of the 550 helis out there. But special models like the ones we have for the 4025HS - the 5x32mm that fits the Synergy helis, the 6x20mm TDF one with the bevel in the end to insert into the one-way-bearing, the 40mm scale shafts or the shorter shafts for the XLPower 550 and the SAB Goblin 570 (the 23.5mm long ones) - those are not available for the HT yet.

Depending on the demand and what you guys are asking for, we're gonna select a few couple shafts to make for the HT motors as well. But at the moment please note that only the 6x32mm shafts are available. And while this is the perfect 6S high kV option for the Goblin Kraken (580) we already had two other motors, built or two other models built, for 6S, and for 7S, and for 12S. So this here - in case you've never seen this - when you open one of our motor boxes, this is what you're going to find: You're going to find two sticker sheets - here we have one sticker sheet, a second sticker sheet and as all our motors are hand-wound, there's a special Certificate of Authenticity that proves that this motor has been hand-wound, hand-assembled, individually balanced and checked.

And this is a 550Kv 4025HT. I think it's the first time that it's shown on camera. We teased a video of our pilot Krisztián from Hungary, flying this motor yesterday on our EGODRIFT facebook page. So if you've seen that, this was the 4025HT model in a Kraken 580 on 12S. This motor and the 1050Kv have been for testing for a couple months now, it's like six or seven months.

And those are a hundred percent already ready. ...and then there are some other models, that we've played around with, tested roughly and decided that they'd be good to go - but we want to invite you to be part of our new BETA program and to give you the chance to fly pre-release next level stuff first. With our new beta motors. Because we want, and seek, the direct contact with the users of these motors to figure out the best settings, the best gearing options, the best combinations and blades, to have all this information ready for you when the motors go into a more broader audience. And just to have all this information ready for support. So this is basically the last step that's missing to have them fullly market ready, and we want to invite you to be part of that.
