EGODRIFT Summer '26 News

Hey everybody and welcome. This is Vincent from EGODRIFT and it's a great pleasure for me to welcome you to today's very special episode of our EGODRIFT 2026 summer news. As you all know, we celebrated our 10th anniversary as EGODRIFT in May of this year. We started in May 2016 and honestly, a couple months before that developing our very first motors, developing our brand, but May 2016 is when we officially started as EGODRIFT and in May 2026, we celebrated our 10th anniversary and we would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all of you for contributing to our success, for being part of the journey, and for making us the EGODRIFT brand that we are today. So, on behalf of the entire EGODRIFT team, a very, very heartfelt thank you very much for all of you to all of you for everything that you've done for us.

We really appreciate it. Thank you very much. We have, over the last couple weeks and months, worked very hard to bring you the foundation of what we plan to do in the next 10 years. Um before we get into that, let's touch on a few small things that we have for you. One, we have 40 new Genesis On top of the 4230EC Eclipse that we've added in a 370Kv version.

Also just now added a 4726 Eclipse in a 370Kv version for the SAB Goblin 700. For those that don't want to fly pure FBL but want to experience a bit more of a sporty flying and also use the EGODRIFT custom 10.1 mm stators. So, we have a new 4726EC Eclipse model for you in a 370Kv version for the Genesis. The other thing that we have done for the last 10 years, So, you sure you have seen a lot of our EGODRIFT custom laser designs, but those were always exclusively available to our team members, most loyal customers, and special projects. And to celebrate our 10th anniversary, we have for the very first and limited time now created a special 10-year anniversary laser design that you can order and will have your name, your first and last name integrated as part of the laser design, and you have the video of the lasering I think running in the screen behind me right now.

You can order these from egodrift.com or from supporting dealers as long as they will be able to pass on the information to us, and I'm sure all of our dealers will. We will be able to ship these to our dealers in their shipments for you as well. Speaking of egodrift.com, something that we've been working on very, very hard over the last weeks, month, and countless hours have gone into that is our new egodrift.com website. It has silently launched yesterday night so that we have a chance to test some things live before announcing it officially and now, but we have tried to rebuild the EGODRIFT website completely and turn it from a store to a knowledge base that will provide you with a lot of in-depth information on how to mount your motors, set up your ESCs, tune your setups.

There's going to be a lot more information on this in the future, but also have a lot of troubleshooting guides, optimization tips, questions and answers on it to really help those of you who want to dive deeper and to get more knowledge on the topic. Go to EGODRIFT website as a source for information in the future. As part of this, it is necessary that you register a new account because the website is a complete rebuild. We did not migrate the accounts. Don't worry, your order History, whether placed online, email, in person, to me, on a napkin, on the phone, all of your order history is safe with us in our offline production system that we've always stored all the orders in.

So, don't worry if you don't see them on the new website. Please register a new account. It will be very beneficial. The new website does provide a lot of new features and information not only to human visitors, but also, and this is something that we've seen over the last weeks and month and maybe year or two, is a lot of people have started to turn to AI and large language models to find information on setups and tuning. And also, setup component combinations.

And what we wanted to do with our new website is to provide manufacturer-authored information that AI agents can rely upon and feed on to provide you with accurate information and take a lot of the guesswork out that AI models would have to give you otherwise. Also, on the new website are two very big features that we're very proud of. One is a new search. We have tried to make the whole website very User-friendly, very slick. And one of the key features is our integrated search that will allow you and help you to search for anything, search for information, search for topics, search for products, search for articles.

Please use the search extensively. We're trying to sharpen it even further in the future and use it as a direct tool to bring you directly to the information that you're looking for. And lastly, this is one part of our big new support area on the website that we've called the workbench. There is our first tool on it, which is our EGODRIFT Headspeed Calculator. So, on our EGODRIFT website now, you have a head speed calculation tool that will help you to figure out the best combinations of components, fine-tune your setup, do gearing calculations.

But also, and this is part of the whole knowledge base idea of our website, it will not only give you calculation information, but also provide some information as to why certain values that we have fixed are fixed. One of the examples is that the battery voltage, which in calculators you can often set, is fixed as 3.8 volts because we believe this is the only true value that we actually use for calculations because it will give you reproducible results over the entire battery lifetime, component lifetime, And we are also explaining as to exactly why we are using these values. Have a look and you can even also install the whole Headspeed Calculator on your phone or your computer as an app, even if without being an app, so none of the hassle of installing, permissions, Updating.

Just go to your browser, go to the settings menu or share on iPhone, and you will be able to find an add to home screen or install option that will allow you to use the Headspeed Calculator on your phone as if it was an app without even being an app. Lastly, the one other thing that you will find on the website is that we have tried over the last month and weeks to figure out the most sought-after models and took the key items that all of you are looking for, and we have established a stock for those to give you even faster shipping. Some of them will even be able to ship within 24 hours, and our website, we're still working on that part a little on matching the information between the new warehouse and the website, but the website will also give you information exactly as to which models can be shipped directly or will be custom wound as per your requirements.

There's also a new option on the website that will allow you to order custom Kvs directly from our website. You can find it on the 47 30 Eclipse as a first test model. Another feature where you can really custom order custom Kvs directly from our website as usual without any extra surcharge. Another big feature that we're very proud of. So, thank you very much.

Going to be detailed guides on how to tune your setups, how to analyze your setups. More on that later. And on top of that, we have quite a few new products in store for you over the coming weeks, Over the coming month, I should say. The whole year is going to be the foundation of our next decade, and the information architecture on our website is a requirement and the foundation for the things that we have in store for you.
