Some booth visits end with a spec sheet. This one ended with a costume change. During Rotor Live 2023, Toncsi and Péter from RC Helicopter Hub stopped by the EGODRIFT booth and were — as they put it — upgraded to the latest in fashion: official EGODRIFT caps, handed over by Vincent Offenbeck in person.

A Charlie Chaplin bit, at a heli expo

What makes the clip worth two minutes of your day is the form. RC Helicopter Hub cut the handover as a silent film — old-school title cards, sped-up motion, the full Charlie Chaplin treatment. No specs, no Kv ladders, no torque curves: just the kind of thing that happens when the community side of this hobby gets behind a camera. It is, by some distance, the least technical video ever featured on this news page, and that's exactly its charm.
